Woodruffe Stables
STABLING
A former racing yard, Woodruffe boasts 30 high-quality stables in a courtyard setting. The boxes are spacious, well-ventilated and have automatic drinkers.
HACKING
Woodruffe is blessed with superb hacking country on the doorstep, with very little roadwork. Epsom Downs are five minutes away, offering the opportunity to canter over wide open country and the all-weather gallops - beneath the famous grandstand!
A little further away, there is National Trust land at Headley Heath and Mickleham Common. Pub rides are very popular in the summer months, and Woodruffe staff are always available to accompany the less confident rider.

SCHOOLS
Owners have free and unlimited use of the two schools; a 60 x 20m dressage arena and a 35 x 35m jumping school.
For the more experienced rider, there is a course of BSJA show jumps.
TURNOUT
Your horse will enjoy year-round post-and-rail turnout on well-drained fields.
GALLOPS
There is also an all-weather sand gallops stretching half-a-mile around the paddocks, a legacy of Woodruffe's days as a racing yard.
PLUS...
- Horse Walker - Woodruffe has a Claydon horse walker, which takes six horses. We find it indispensable both in bad weather and for horses recovering from injury.
- Wash down area - with a hose boom.
- Lockable tack room - with space to keep your grooming kit, boots, etc.
