Woodruffe Stables are now a qualifying venue for the Sunshine Tour (www.sunshinetour.co.uk). We will be running Dressage competitions from April 2012 onwards which will allow you to qualify for the championships to be held at Great Bookham Equestrian Centre on 22nd and 23rd September 2012. Email info@woodruffestables.co.uk for a schedule. The competition dates will be available shortly on the website and you will be able to enter online. Watch this space… and Good Luck if you decide to enter!
Maybe one of your resolutions for 2012 is to improve your riding… if so then come and join one of our monthly clinics. We run dressage clinics with Sharon Edwards and jumping clinics with John Smart or Sebastien Poirier. In January we will run 2 jumping clinics: Saturday 14th with John Smart and Saturday 21st with Sebastien Poirier.

We are planning some exciting things for 2012 at Woodruffe Stables! If you would like to improve your position and effectiveness in the saddle, then look no further and join a riding and pilates clinic! Rebecca Ashton, a BHS instructor, dressage rider who trained with Christopher Bartle, Wolfram Wittig and Hans Riegler (head trainer of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna) among others and a qualified pilates instructor is available in October for clinics at our yard. She offers a combination of coaching while riding and pilates focused off the horse exercises specific to the rider’s needs as well as talk on exercise and body awareness.

Join us Saturday 3 September 2011 from 2pm for a fantastic dressage lecture demo with Grand Prix riders and trainers Sharon Edwards and Sarah Williams. They will bring 3 horses working at novice through to Grand Prix and will even demonstrate some Dressage to Music.
